The branding needed to convey these values while remaining refined, modern, and emotionally resonant. This project explored how visual identity and storytelling can become a seamless extension of a brand's philosophy and materiality.

The main challenge was to develop a visual identity that captured intangible emotions like melancholy, softness, or introspection while still appealing to a high-fashion, design-savvy audience. The identity had to strike a delicate balance between elegance and experimentation, boldness and restraint, stillness and transformation. Additionally, the brand had no existing references or legacy. It needed to feel like it had always existed, timeless and fully formed.

To overcome this, I focused on: - Naming: Chose the name NÉVOA, which evokes both a visual and emotional world—ambiguous, soft, and mysterious. - Logo Design: Designed a refined, serif-based logotype with subtle contemporary tweaks, referencing literary elegance and modernity. - Color Palette: Developed a palette based on natural, muted tones (ash, bone, slate, fog grey) to reflect the brand’s ethereal yet grounded nature. - Mood & Art Direction: Created a conceptual editorial using AI-based tools like Midjourney, drawing from surrealism, classical sculpture, and atmospheric spaces like the MET or misty greenhouses. - Visual System: Defined key characteristics for garments (e.g., sculptural silhouettes, textured materials, silence in design) to ensure consistency across communication and future product design. - Photoshoot Concepts: Proposed multiple campaign scenarios to explore how space, texture, and fashion interact (e.g. “Modern Museum,” “Abandoned Greenhouse,” “Pop Art House”).
